Faith Academy

The new elementary school wing for Faith Academy of Marble Falls was designed in conjunction with a Master Plan to allow for future expansion of the growing school. The elementary building was designed with one double loaded corridor with all classrooms and support spaces accessible from that corridor. A similar building layout can be duplicated in other locations on the site for more elementary and middle school classes when additional space is required. It was important to keep the structure of the building straightforward because volunteers would potentially be assisting in the construction of the school. Taking cues from the existing buildings on site, the elementary school utilizes limestone cladding with siding panels above eight feet. With the goal of bringing light to the center of the school, clerestories were included in the main corridor.
