JT Patterson Hall Renovations

With the arrival of a new Dean in 2012, the College of Natural Science developed a master plan which focused on space utilization of CNS facilities across the 40 acres and rebranding to create more cohesion between the different departments within the CNS.  As a part of that master plan, the Patterson Hall building was to remain as a research hub for various biology departments and as the “home” of Integrative Biology.

One of the primary recommended improvements included demolition of an antiquated mailroom to create an open lobby to host informal collaborative spaces in support the building’s many researchers.  A new 40-person conference room was added as well as new reception and administrative spaces for Integrative Biology.
